About the School:
Duncanrig Secondary School is a true comprehensive school serving a community of over 1700 young people. We are part of the Duncanrig Learning Community, which comprises Duncanrig Secondary School, our nine associated primary schools, Early Years partners, and bases that provide specialist additional services. Within our school, we also have a supported learning provision for young people with additional support needs.

Responsibilities
Although specific duties have been drawn up and are defined in this profile, they are not exhaustive and can change to suit the needs and priorities of the school. The necessity for change will be determined by the Head Teacher.

You will assist in the delivery of the curriculum and contribute to whole school initiatives, as appropriate and will carry out the range of duties outlined in Annexe B of "A Teaching Profession for the 21st Century".
The Individual
This role is central to the delivery of the school’s vision for supporting all learners to achieve their potential. You will coordinate the school’s Nurture Group provision and develop the school’s applied nurturing approaches, liaising closely with PT Support for Learning and the Pupil Support Team. You will also manage a targeted caseload of pupils requiring intensive interventions.
