Job Requirements :

Candidate must possess LCCI / CAT / Recognised Accounting Degree or equivalent professional qualifications or part qualified ACCA / CTIM/ MICPA / CIMA / CPA.
Resourceful, committed and keen to develop a long term career in tax.
Technical ability to deal with and manage a varied portfolio of clients, effective interpersonal & communication skills, ability to motivate and train staff to produce work of high standard.
Excellent command of spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Study leave provided for relevant professional examinations.

Duties and Job Description

• Preparation of monthly P & L and Balance sheet.
• Invoice generation and payment follow-up.
• Perform daily accounting transactions such as creating & posting vouchers.
• Managing Entire day to day accounting like General accounting, Journal Entries, Accruals, Prepaid, Intercompany reconciliation, Petty Cash.
• Ensure appropriate documentation for all transactions.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and adjustments, including supporting documentation with appropriate descriptions
• Prepare Monthly sales report detailing intercompany sales and product wise information.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable ledgers, prepare statement of account of receivables and send to customer and follow up for collection.
• Bank reconciliation and reconciliation of Receivables.
• Payment processing through Bank Portal
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Prepare stocks / inventory reconciliations.
• Consult with external tax agent on annual returns and any tax queries.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset control and conduct physical verification at timely intervals.
• Coordinate Audits, yearend reporting, preparation of audit schedules and reconciliation against General Ledgers and Finance Reports
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and financial accounting regulations, submission of annual returns and other statutory filings.
• Other Administrative and accounting duties as required.

Skills set

• Should be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Should have worked on an accounting package as data entry in software is required.
• Knowledge on internet, MS xls. , MS word, Outlook express.

Qualifications:

• Commerce Graduate with 5-6 year experience.

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate preparation of company financial and management reports;
• Handle full set of accounts & reporting, including general ledgers, accounts payable, receivable and fixed assets;
• Ensure timely completion, review and reconciliation of AP/AR/GL/FA;
• Work closely with head office and counterparts in other overseas inter-companies
• To prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
• Handle year-end Audit and Taxation matters;
• Liaise with tax agents, internal and external auditors;
• Liaise with head office on Product Costing and Analysis;
• Coordinate and conduct year end and/or month end stock take;
• Oversee import and export shipping arrangement;
• Ensure internal controls and policies are complied with group internal policies, local regulations, taxes and audit requirements;
• Handle Company insurance matters;
• Handle ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Company.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accountancy
• Working experience of handling full set of accounts up to reporting
• 5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance preferably in a manufacturing environment;
• SAP and Costing experience / background desirable;
• Able to work under tight schedules and deadlines.
