SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to producers caring for company birds in regards to the proper care and comfort. Duties would include but are not limited to advising producers regarding building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation and farm sanitation farm visits to include documenting bird comfort, management of the flock and equipment settings, directing feed and light schedules, monitoring bird health, egg production, body weight and conformation and providing remedy when possible, monitoring feed consumption, pulling blood and fat samples on time, when required coordinating bird placements to the farms and helping with catch schedules and ensuring communication between hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews and live-haul as it pertains to their contract farms and in all areas insuring producer and company are in compliance with the production contract so as to produce flocks of the highest quality and lowest cost due to good performance and for ensuring all USDA and other government regulations are followed when handling poultry.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 1 plus year.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in academic or industry roles involved in clean energy technology development
3+ years of experience in plans for technical and non-technical audiences on cutting-edge research related to clean energy
Ability to assess the state-of-the-art within a technical space to identify development and deployment gaps and new technology development opportunities
Ability to define and steward projects
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Master's degree in Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with managing project and programs leveraging clean energy technology to meet policy goals, including meeting DoD energy policy mandate, DOE program goals, or state and local policy directives
Experience with managing technical projects or programs in an demonstration, deployment, and mission support environment, including development of scopes of work and assessing project progress
Experience with building cross-institutional and cross-discipline relationships in government, academia, and industry
Experience in a consulting environment
Knowledge of key industry, academic, and governmental initiatives to develop, incubate, and deploy clean energy technologies
Possession of excellent data gathering analytical, and problem-solving skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Doctorate degree in Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
