The Nanyang Business School (NBS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) invites applications for Assistant/Associate/Full Professor tenure track positions in strategy.
Requirements:
Applicants for the Assistant Professor positions should possess a Ph.D. degree from a recognized university and have an outstanding research record or work in progress in top-tier journal publications. In addition, applicants have to show evidence of teaching excellence at the undergraduate or graduate levels.
Applicants for the Associate/Full Professor positions must have a strong track record of high-quality research and at least three years of teaching excellence at the MBA/EMBA level. In addition, applicants must have a primary expertise in strategy with sufficient visibility and impact in the global academic community. It would be helpful, but not required, to have secondary expertise in international business or sustainability. Appointment with tenure requires a formal review.
The faculty hired for these positions will be based in the NBS, Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship Division (SIE). SIE’s faculty takes a multi-disciplinary approach, leading to publications in premier journals, such as the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. We emphasize relevance in research through engagements with industry stakeholders. Our faculty provides thought leadership on strategic decisions that lead to sustainable firm growth and profitability in global and regional markets.
