Responsibilities: 

Management

• Assist Production manager design and update Engineering team workflow/standard operation procedure from time to time.
   

Reporting

• Prepare regular production reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Maintaining detailed records of production data, analysis, and improvement efforts. This documentation serves as a historical reference and supports decision-making.
   

Development and improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost-saving measures, and quality enhancements.
• Investigating production issues and discrepancies by conducting root cause analysis.
   

Operation

• Responsible for managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate and up-tp-date documentation and receival of item required for production processes.
• Allocating manpower, equipment, and materials effectively to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet established standard, engineering specifications and quality control measures.
• Addressing and resolving production issues as they arise, including technical problems and bottlenecks in the production line.
• Coordinating equipment maintenance schedules to ensure that machinery and tools are in good working condition and minimizing unplanned downtime.
• Participate actively in ISO and customer audits ensuring that production operations comply with safety regulations, environmental regulations and sustainability goals, implementing safety measures to protect employees and the workplace.
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Operations Management, Industrial Engineering)
• Proven experience in production or operations management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

As Associate Engineer for HMS (Hydraulic Mining Shovel), you will create, implement, and improve engineering designs, processes, techniques, tooling, and machinery to meet customer requirements and maximize product quality.

You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.

Domestic relocation is available for this position.

What You Will Do:

• Engaging in factory quality issues and deviations, gathering technical information, and providing technical reviews and recommendations in a timely manner.
• Managing design engineering-related build issues/field issues, providing rework instruction as Interim Corrective Action, follow-up rework execution, and issue closing. Provide feedback to design controllers related to factory build issues/field issues, propose design review/revision as Permanent Corrective Action in a timely manner, and maintain and track engineering events closure. Support in the execution of engineering change implementation in the factory.
• Continuous collaboration with Global Engineering teams and product support teams.
• Execution of Trial Fit-up or prototype activities.
• Support other functional teams to explain the technical requirements and design intent.
• Supporting supplier collaboration teams to resolve technical issues, quality events/deviations, and track BIQ (Build in Quality) results.
• HMS (Hydraulic Mining Shovel) APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) reviews with the relevant factory teams.
