We are looking for a highly motivated Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to lead the Capital Budget Execution and Asset Management Operations for IT- Engineering Computing: Federation Planning and Operations Team.
The Federation Operations is a team of Capacity Planners who manage the compute and storage capacity planning cycles for all the Intel design groups, supply/demand analysis, purchasing, asset management, allocation and driving efficient use of the compute assets.
High level responsibilities for this role include:
⦿ Ensure Smooth and Streamlined Purchase Execution of the monthly and yearly IT/EC approved capital from Purchase Initiation to Approval to Delivery and Asset Registration
- Create the Purchase requests; request the funding
- Creating Shopping Cart (SC) within agreed OLA
- Follow through on SC approvals, publish weekly reports and Validate Purchase Order (PO)
- Escalate invoice and payment issue as required while ensuring country based legality
- Engage with vendor, manage quotes, PO receipts, Estimated shipping dates
- Monitor and track supply chain timelines
⦿ Engage with Finance on WBS or funding related issues
⦿ Close engagement with Intel vendor team to ensure POR configs are in the shopping tool catalog.
⦿ Work with IT and EC teams to ensure assets are correctly received and tracked in the asset POR tools
⦿ Point of contact for any Procurement related queries
Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering or related field.
- Experience in Servicenow asset management, Purchasing policies and tools. Should be detailed oriented and ability to analyze data for developing reports and supply chain metrics.
- Understanding of Business processes: Finance capital Plan process, Supply Chain process
- Business acumen and Customer engagement skills
