We're looking for a Service Architect to join our Growth team at Capita!
The Service Architect will provide consultancy support for new Sales opportunities and are a key member of the Solutions & Pre-Sales team, to define the service management services proposed to meet a client's requirements and their associated costs. They will also provide expertise in IT Service Management on an ad hoc basis to teams across CPS, Capita Group Businesses, Capita Group clients and potential Capita clients.
For this role, you will need to be flexible, able to travel, and stay away from home when required.
What you'll be doing:
• ensure output quality supports growth by meeting timescales, completing pricing, and aligning service designs with business strategy.
• work directly on customer opportunities, attend meetings, and develop tailored responses to their needs
• provide expertise for bids and assure quality input and overall proposals.
• champion service management processes within Capita IT Services, adhering to ITIL frameworks and ISO2000.
• translate customer requirements into comprehensive Service Designs, covering scope, delivery models, SLAs, OLAs, and transition to Business-As-Usual.
• assist in negotiating and renegotiating customer contracts related to IT Service Management, including service models, ITIL functions, and SLAs/KPIs.
What we're looking for:
• extensive experience of delivering service management solutions and proposals to address complex opportunities
• knowledge of Capita's solutions and sectors in which Capita operates
• ITIL Foundation or ITIL v3/v4 Expert and ISO/IEC 20000 consultant qualifications are desirable
• experience of architecting service management solutions for Public/Hybrid cloud solutions
• experience of working with BMC Remedy or ServiceNow ITSM toolset
• designing, developing and implementing sustainable and scalable service management processes and procedures.
