Responsibilities

· Plan, organize and execute maintenance activities and ensure maintenance requirements are met at all times

· Check and ensure works are being carried out according to plan and contracts in a timely manner

· Managing in-house technicians, outsourced service partners and contractors, providing supervision and monitoring their performance

· Attend to emergency/crisis and assist in emergency management and contingency planning

· Advise and lead the technical investigations for rectification works

· Liaise with contractors for rectification works or ad-hoc jobs

· Investigate, analyze and determine the root cause of breakdowns and faults

· Prepare technical reports on breakdowns and proposals

Requirements

· Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), Building Services or equivalent

· Possess at least 5 years’ experience in M&E / Facilities project support or management

· Strong written and communication skills

· Experienced in managing external contractors

The candidate will be responsible for automation engineering/development such as:

• Ability to design, develop and implement machine learning algorithms
• Ability to discover, design, and develop analytical methods to support approaches on data and information processing.
• Clean, preprocess and analyse large datasets to extract meaningful features for model training
• Translate requirements into practical and effective solutions using AI, machine learning, and deployment technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and develop code from various sources.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end coding languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
• Solid understanding of AI and machine learning principles and algorithms.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, protocols, and best practices.
• Experience with frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Research and develop state-of-the-art deep learning models for time-series analysis.

• Experiment with and implement cutting-edge techniques in signal processing and machine learning.

• Manage the complete model lifecycle in a cloud computing environment, utilizing best practices in MLOps.

• Required Skills:

• Proficient in Python programming and experienced with PyTorch and other deep learning frameworks.

• Solid background in signal processing relevant to real-time data from sensors and industrial equipment.

• Prior experience in an R&D setting, with a proven track record of innovative problem-solving and publication.

• Recommended Skills:

• Experience with advanced MLOps practices, including automated model testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as R or Java, beneficial for diverse R&D projects.

• Certification in cloud technologies and machine learning, such as AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty or Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer.
