Key Responsibilities

• Conduct repair operations and oversee them meticulously onboard vessels, in port areas, anchorages, or shipyard settings.
• Manage and oversee the scheduling and execution of projects to ensure prompt completion.
• Perform assessments and determine cost estimates for repair requests.
• Understand technical drawings.
• Generate detailed technical and service reports, compile worklists, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Licensed Aircraft Engineer B1/B2

• Perform/Certify aircraft maintenance tasks
• Attend to aircraft routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks and other line maintenance duties
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and/or engines and all associated aircraft systems
• Inspect finished work, operation/functional tests and aircraft defect rectification
• Sign-off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release
• Manage and maintain tool & equipment store and provide recommendations, if applicable
• 70% Base, 30% Line, depending on workload

Requirements:

• Prefer EASA, FAA or related licence

• Wide body aircraft rating preferred

• At least 5 years of B1 or B2 Engineer experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
• Provide regular updates to the Senior/Project Manager regarding project progress compared to the baseline, including any identified issues and risks.
• Conduct safety inspections (VSCC) and ensure adherence to ship work safety standards and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with various trades to ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop and implement cost-effective construction plans to support project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure proper documentation of all changes to specifications, work scope, and drawings.
• Review estimated man-hours, project duration, and resource requirements.
• Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance, investigating any deviations from expected performance.
• Collaborate with the Senior/Project Manager to manage project schedule, cost-to-completion (CTC), and percentage of completion (POC).
• Conduct progress meetings to address any issues and manage project challenges.
• Take responsibility for project planning, scheduling, and cost management.
• Provide support for project tenders and fulfill any other ad-hoc project duties as needed.
• Handle warranty issues and ensure customer satisfaction at the project site, maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Marine / Mechanical / Naval Architecture
• Successful candidate for this position myst have at least 3 years of project experience in New Ship Build / Ship Repair / Conversion
• Project Experience in Risk Management, Project Costing, Scheduling, CRM

Job Objectives

The potential candidate will join Job Scheduling or the OJS team, responsible for running day-to-day control and management of jobs scheduling using BMC Control - M job scheduling tool in our Data Centre which runs across multi-platform systems like Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX, WinNT, etc, running Production and Testing/Development environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Define and setup Job flow in Control-M across multi-platform systems (Mainframe, AS/400, Unix, Windows)

· Check daily job scheduled and liaise with Control-M Admin team on incidents and problems related to Control-M

· Liaise with teams on batch job setup requirements and also work with Business units on authorized adhoc requests

· Assist in troubleshooting problems related to Control-M upon escalation

· Provide support to ensure quality and stable environment to our clients

· Create support documentation to reduce meantime to resolve issues

· Flexibility and availability to work for production support during early morning/late eve/ night hours and weekends

Key Requirements

· Minimum Degree in IT from a recognized polytechnic/institution with 3-5 years of working experience in relevant work area.

· Experience working on Control M Job Processing; preferably Version 8/9

· Experience in using Control-M utilities for AS400, Mainframe, Open system (Unix and Windows) platform.

· Good communication and collaboration skills working with Operations/Technical/Production support teams.

· Proficient in using MS Office Suite of products.

· Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Operations support and monitoring.

· Proven ability to work independently and under pressure.
