Responsibilities

• To achieve the monthly sales target set by the Management
• To implement the marketing plan and its promotional activities
• To conduct market intelligence
• To increase occupancy, average rate, and profits of the hotel through planning and active sales
• Define target markets by analyzing data from the customer database system and
  developing appropriate sales strategies for both domestic and international markets
• To maintain good rapport with customers at all times
• To back up the Sales team members as to when required
• To assist in the training of Junior sales personnel ensuring that they have the
  necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and adhering to departments SOP
• To take on any additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Management

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/Diploma/Degree
  A minimum of 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Managers with experience in Sales - Corporate / Government, Hotel
  Management / Tourism Services or equivalent
• Proactive and vocal in providing feedback and process improvement suggestions
