About the role:

• To develop new methods and improve existing methods for the lab in Singapore.
• Coordinate with others lab on new methods.
• To participate with process, production to fix issues at Singapore facility.
• To provide backup to QC lab on routine analytical activities.
• Handles development of Projects (new methods, e.g. NIR, Lab-infrastructure, etc.)
• Develop, document and validate new analytical methods as needed (accuracy) and train lab members on new analytical methods.
• Supports and follows special analysis outside control plans.
• Contribute to improve the performance of routine analytical methods.
• Establish SOP for new methods and contribute to the revision of the operating procedures.
• Participate on process studies, investigations and development studies on coordination with process and production.
• Validate and cross reference test on a regular and on-going basis with other BU sites
• Work in close coordination with experts from other related sites and R&D-centres
• Support to routine QC analytical teams in case of manpower shortage or workload increase
• Implements rules/ procedures/ good practices based on company's Integrated Management System.
• Detects and address potential risks in HSEQ field.
• Implements improvement programs in accordance with site directions and priorities in HSEQ field.
• Respects and enforces waste management.

About you:

• Bachelor in Chemistry with significant experience in chemical industrial plant laboratory or Master degree in Chemistry.
• Knowledge of various routine analytical techniques (methods/equipment) used in the laboratory.
• Knowledge in organic chemistry and hazardous chemicals.
• Knowledge in IT-systems (LIMS, SAP).
• Knowledge in chemical engineering and process
• Knowledge in statistical analysis preferred.
• Good organizational skills.

As an Internal Controller Specialist within the Malaysia Commercial Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of finance and accounting functions and activities. The Internal Controller Specialist is a vital member of the Malaysia Commercial Finance team for Oldtown White Coffee. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of finance and accounting activities within the organization. Reporting directly to the Internal Controller Lead, the Internal Controller Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the company's strategy and business activities by providing financial expertise, ensuring compliance, driving accountability, and managing financial risks effectively.

About the role:

• Establish, implement, maintain & improve the management systems, namely: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS 651
• Establish, implement, review & improve on management systems’ documentation, namely: policy, objectives, manual, procedures, forms, etc.
• Manage all system certification, improvement, and upgrade issues.
• Plan, manage and execute all internal and external management system audits to ensure timely closure of issues raised during the audits.
• Plan and conduct management reviews.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of all QA activities and support in HSE activities.
• Follow-up on issues to ensure timely closure of HSEQ-related reports, namely: customer complaint reports, corrective action reports, incident reports, etc.
• Prepare and submit Monthly reports.
• Support in the preparation and submission of the Safety Case.
• Participate as a team member in risk / HSE assessment team.
• Participate in external provider audits, where applicable.
• Coordination of Global QA initiatives and projects.
• To perform any other duties or assignments as assigned by superiors.

About you:

• Holder of diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance, Health and Safety in chemical / petrochemical industry.
• Good understanding of quality management systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS 651.
