The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) serves as the head of the U.S. Intelligence Community, overseeing and directing the implementation of the National Intelligence Program and acting as the principal advisor to the President, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council for intelligence matters related to national security. The Center serves as the primary organization in the United States Government (USG) for analyzing and integrating all intelligence possessed or acquired by the USG pertaining to terrorism and counterterrorism (CT), and its Director serves as the Counterterrorism Mission Manager. NCTC also serves as the central and shared knowledge bank on known and suspected terrorists and international terrorist groups, as well as their goals, strategies, capabilities, and networks of contacts and support. This position is in the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation's Office of External Affairs. The Legislative Affairs Pathways Intern will assist with managing DFC's relationship with members and committees of the House and Senate including attending legislative hearings and assisting with various legislative research projects as assigned.

Duties include:

- Compiles information to determine the status of various program activities. Assists Legislative Affairs staff with research in preparation for Congressional engagements, including phone calls, briefings, and hearings.
- Assists Legislative Affairs Specialists in the completion of forms and maintenance of records or documents related to the work of the office.
- Assist in maintaining Legislative Affairs records and tracking systems.
- Assists with the preparation of materials to inform the Corporation on matters pending before the United States Congress that could affect DFC and its operations. Assists with preparing responses to Congressional policies, requests, and other developments.
- Assists in the writing of letters, talking points and memos for DFC management in both internal and external communication with government officials, Members of Congress, and others. Prepares correspondence as necessary.

Financial Management:
- Provide administrative support to the finance department by filing, researching files and records, and preparing reports and other documents as requested.
- Organize and manage department-related documents and information.
- Reconcile internal accounting system (TDAMIS) with official accounting system (Oracle).
- Assist in reconciling travel and other open obligations.
- Assist in conducting research related to financial management and budget execution.
- Provide general administrative support to Finance staff members.

Administration
- Assists in the implementation and management of USTDA's administrative management activities to include support for process improvement in a variety of areas such as travel, records, and human resource management.
- Support other duties as required by the Agency's Administrative team.
- Assists in developing correspondence, briefings, and presentation materials for the administrative team.

Acquisition Management
- Support a variety of pre-award and post-award procurement actions.
- Prepares supporting documentation.
- Assists in ensuring contract compliance with contract provisions.
- Enters actions into the automated contract log and conduct market research.
- Provide general support to the AQM staff members.

- Support the IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software and other systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment-related issues and providing technical support to Agency users.

Attend briefings, review legal documents, conduct legal research, draft memoranda and make presentations on issues central to OGC's work.

Participate in OGC meetings during which current issues relating to USTDA and its activities are presented and discussed.

Legal interns will work across all regions and technical sectors USTDA operates in (primarily clean energy, transportation, healthcare, and digital infrastructure), as well as administrative law.
