About the role

Dyson has an opportunity for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join our multidiscipline Motor Drives & Advanced Control (MDAC) group developing motor and heater systems for Dyson’s cord-free floor care and personal care range of products.

Job Responsibilities

• Responds to Attractions recovery and repair of Ride & Show mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in USS (Universal Studios Singapore).
• Troubleshoots failed components using basic test equipment, schematics/prints and specialized tools, equipment and resources.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in leading a team of around 10 or more.
• At least 10 year experiences in working with Java J2EE, SQL .
• Experience on Java , J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, Unix,Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot,.
• Experience with MVC architecture, Microservices ,Webservices,RESTFul services is plus
• Experience with Hibernate /JPA
• Experience with Java 8, Familiar and used Java 8 new features
• Good Experience MySQL, Maria DB ,Oracle databases.
• Hands on experience in CI/CD pipeline by using GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, SVN
• Familiarity in Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence is a plus

• Ability to work in an Agile environment is an added advantage
• Knowledge in any of the banking areas is an added advantage
• Experience with Unix, Linux is a plus.
• Certified in Java,J2EE is a plus.
