Job background/context:
Citi’s Listed Company Access Strategies Division, part of Citi Client Organisation, is the business of connecting our institutional clients with corporates, industry experts and theme related events, as part of our advisory offering. The whole team works closely with Research, Equity Sales, Trading, and Banking. The team provides a comprehensive program of conferences, non deal road shows, seminars and client events, either on enduring topics or through reacting rapidly to breaking news by marshalling key experts from Citi and tapping into external thought leaders. Citi works with over 6,000 corporates, academics and industry experts to deliver around 150,000 meetings to our clients per annum around the world.
Job purpose:
Working as part of the Global Access Strategies Team and the Continental Sales Teams. We are looking for candidates with origination track record, connectivity with IR community in France in particular and excellent written and verbal communication skills who are willing and able to work in a fast-paced time pressured environment. The role will require to work as part of Citi’s Continental Sales and UK, Europe and MENA Listed Companies Access Teams to originate and organise Non-Deal Roadshows taking place in EU; to market our Bespoke Trip product; build client relationships; market and sign up clients to our global events. Our products target specific institutional clients to help increase our ranking within the institution.
Responsibilities include:
1. Driving all corporate access offerings: conferences, non-deal roadshows, group and bespoke investor trips, corporate lunches and any bespoke requests;
2. Working with the wider Access Strategies team globally pitching roadshows and more discreet opportunities to IROs and CFOs;
3. Building strong direct relationships with companies & investors in order to provide value added insight to help corporates effectively market their story and encourage greater corporate access flow through Citi;
4. Working with sales to identify the right investor targets; responsible for filling schedules and reacting to last minute changes;
5. Working with sales to ensure there is higher quality feedback product delivered to the corporate clients post the Citi sponsored roadshows;
6. Leverage and develop a strong corporate network;
7. Chaperoning key management teams around Paris whilst on their roadshows to ensure high levels of service delivery and create sense of ownership.

- Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
Business knowledge:
- Relevant experience in the Financial Industry;
- Proven experience driving Corporate Access offerings
- Strong experience pitching to Investor bases
- Degree or business diploma qualified (strong preference);
- Understanding of global markets and working within a large financial company;
- Understanding of institutional investors.
