BIM Modeler

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed BIM models using Revit for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Ensure models are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with project standards and specifications.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.
• Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models as required.
• Assist in the coordination and integration of BIM with other project management and design software.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide input to project planning and execution.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and best practices.

Job Description

The Quantum Engineering Programme (QEP) funds research and supports ecosystem building to bring quantum technologies to solve the challenges of end-users. Its work span quantum sensing, quantum communication and security and quantum computing. Launched in 2018, it supports translational research focused on industry challenges and initiatives to nurture a quantum ecosystem.

Coordinated nationally across various research organisations, it is supported by the National Research Foundation, Singapore and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore and hosted by the National University of Singapore.

Responsibilities
The Senior Manager / Manager for QEPO will:
1) Develop an understanding of the quantum companies priorities, market demand, industry needs for key sectors under the SNDE and MTC domains, aligned with national strategies/ plans for quantum.
2) Work alongside public research performers (i.e. IHLs and A*STAR RIs) in QEP quantum platforms with the relevant competencies and capabilities to address national and industry needs.
3) Understand and leverage I&E competencies and resources (e.g. funding initiatives and test-bedding /deployment opportunities) of various agencies to advance technology development and translation efforts for QEPO.
4) Identify challenges which may hinder science and technology development and translation efforts for quantum domain, and where necessary, surface these issues to relevant authorities for intervention or resolution.

Qualifications

∙ At least 2 years (preferably 5 years) of working experience in business and technology development (preferable quantum field), in either public or private entity.
∙ Able to identify and contextualise stakeholder issues and manage them appropriately.
∙ Able to draft, discuss and finalize RCA (Research Collaboration Agreement) with industry collaborator and PI (Principal Investigators)/Researchers.
∙ Build, develop and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders and industry (both MNC and local companies) by partnering them and understanding their needs.
∙ Passion to influence, to collaborate/ partner and transform start-ups and SMEs.
∙ Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
∙ Strong business sense and industry expertise.
∙ Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
∙ Willing, adaptable and flexible to take on additional tasks beyond the job description.
∙ Self-starter, innovative and problem solver who is prepared to proactively deal with unexpected situations which may arise.

Job Description

• Best to have formal experience in pre-sales, post sales, delivery team
• Experience in overall design for network and security solutions.
• To prepare and deliver the business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conduct, proof-of-concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary.
• Propose technical solutions and oversee the selection of technologies and work with subject matter partners to develop the proposed solutions to meet customer’s requirements.
• Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risk where multiple solutions exist.
• Actively participate in identifying opportunities, generate proposals, and support sales efforts.
• Increase organization effectiveness by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions to other engagements.
• Take ownership and responsibility for customers’ risks and issues.

Requirements

• At least 3 – 5 years of working experience with in-depth knowledge of pre-sales solutioning and is in abreast with evolving technology capabilities.
• Strong problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills
• Fosters proactive and cooperative relationships within own team and other individuals/groups that interface with the team.
• Excellent interpersonal and group dynamic skills.
• Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
Demonstrated industry experience and exposure to large building projects.
Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the external and internal business environment.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results within a project team.

Roles & Responsibilities / Job Description

Purchasing

· Source, order and manage inventory of Department's supplies

· Responsible for ad-hoc service arrangements with vendors /sub-contractors

· Procure the best price with vendors / sub-contractors for all supplies

· Upon Management's approval, issue PO to vendors / sub-contractors

· Provide and submit all supporting documents for Finance to make payment

Day-to-Day Duties

· Upon receipt of Work Order (WO)/approval from Client, schedule works to be carry out by technicians promptly

· Liaise and coordinate with Team Leader on the scheduled and emergency works

· Record and file all Service Orders (SO) into Company's system

· Upload and save all photos into Company's system

· Follow up with client for defects recorded in SO/reported by Client and prepare quotation, when necessary

· Handle phone call during office hours

· Ensure all works are carry out by technician in accordance to schedule

· Prepare monthly integrated contract reports and ensure all reports submitted to Client punctually.

Maintenance Contracts

· Ensure vendors / sub-contractors deliver goods/works on time if contract is delegated out to 3rd party

· Upon receipt of Work Order (WO) from Client, work out a schedule for the preventive maintenance works and send to them

· Record and file all contracts

· Monitor contract's expiry. 2 months before expiry, send renewal proposal to Client. Follow up with client on renewal proposal.

· Ensure all invoices are submitted punctually completed with all supporting documents requested by Client

· Liaise with Client on all scheduled works

Additional Information

· Technical background especially in Pump Generator / Aircon / Mechanical / Electrical (educational or working experience) will be added advantage

· able to work under stress and independently with good organizational skills
