In this role you will perform system administration duties including development, testing and implementation of engineering systems across a range of projects. Working with the Engineering Solutions Specialist, is responsible for managing engineering applications from a service request perspective, utilising available tools to deliver services to users with minimal overhead and the ongoing tracking of usage optimisation to delivery service and cost efficiencies.
Work with the IT Solutions Specialist to deliver on areas of improvement, to deliver better experiences to end users in corporate and project-based roles across hardware and software offerings.
Perform Administrator duties for Engineering Applications / Plant Design Systems.
Setup Project requirements in conjunction with other integrated system requirements, project systems, and data team members.
Interface and coordinate with Engineering/Design teams for specification development, material management, procurement, vendors, fabrication and construction.
Manage the Hexagon Smart suite (or equivalent) and other engineering systems/application.
Maintaining strong relationships with a range of key stakeholders including local and remote users, senior management, and external providers.
What you will bring to the team:
Background in EPC environment under Design/Engineering team (Piping Discipline)
Experience in administrator duties with Engineering / Plant Design Systems.
Experience in setting up projects in conjunction with other integrated system requirements, project systems, and data team members.
Experience with workflow integration between other Engineering / Plant Design Systems
Experience in piping specification writing / development.
Proficiency in creating, loading, and troubleshooting Plant Design System catalogue data.
Piping Isometric Drawing / GA drawing, configuration and generation.
Experience in development, testing and implementation of Engineering systems across range of locations/projects.
Knowledge in SQL, XML and VB.NET.
Experience with S3D (SmartPlant 3D) Administration duties is highly regarded. Similar Plant Design Systems experience such as E3D (PDMS) / OpenPlant for consideration.
