Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:15pm (Incl. 3 break time)
Saturday 9:30am-12:30pm (1 day per month only)

Salary: SGD 2,000-2,400 per month

Responsibilities

• Support and handle full set of purchasing process, mainly to plan purchase of materials.
• Use monthly production plan, understand MRP and to ensure timely arrival of materials
• Establish a sustainable process with suppliers with an aim to avoid material shortages
• Constant alignment with Planners on demand fluctuations and push/pull materials accordingly
• Generate and drive cost down initiatives
• Work with NPI Team to phase in/phase out parts
• Full responsibility on inventory management
• Manage all communication with suppliers on cost, quality and delivery related issues
• Manage and maintain Data Hygiene in the SAP environment

Skills

• Knowledge with BOM/ERP/SAP
• Able to read technical drawing in PDF format
• Able to comprehend basic manufacturing process,
• Able to work independently
• Analytical and take initiatives
• Strong negotiation skills
• Able to drive and work with different stake-holders
• Hands-on and results-driven

Profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing direct materials
• Able to read and write in English and Chinese to liaise with chinese speaking vendors
• Travel only when required

• Provide expert technical advice to management and program officials on the interpretation of acquisition regulations and guidelines and their application to complex issues.
• Formulate new and revised acquisition policies and standards; and provide expertise in managing the Division's contract and data systems, including interpreting data and applying inductive reasoning to develop reports.
• Provide technical leadership in operations and special projects ensuring contracting operations conform to appropriate principals and standards, provides the required degree of internal controls, meets compliance and reporting requirements.
• Assess compliance of FPAC acquisition programs; plan and carries out quality control and testing of acquisition policy to ensure that the policies and programs are executable, transparent, and sound.
• Leads workgroups and teams while promoting effective team dynamics in order to accomplish assigned tasks and functions in support of the programs and activities of the organization.
• Participates in the development and delivery of mission area and division employee training on acquisition matters.
• Participates with the acquisition management team in taking an active role in the development and implementation of special initiatives related to acquisition, procurement, policies, guidance, practices, and standards.

• Processes requests for purchase cardholder and Approving Official (AO) appointments through the Credit Card Service Center (CCSC), preparing the necessary approvals for the APC
• Monitors purchases using the system, provides APC with information from the system utilizing data query, and conducting statistical sampling reviews.
• Ensures compliance with USDA, OMB, General Services Administration (GSA) and other federal regulations governing the use of the purchase cards.
• Interacts with personnel from US Bank and the CCSC; performs updates and corrections in Access Online (AXOL).
• Participates in the review and development of new and revised policies and procedures as they relate to the purchase card program.

- Following SOP while ensuring the highest level quality of work

- Prepare the product for QC testing before packed
