Are you an experienced CAMH Practitioner (Nurse, Social Worker, Psychologist, Psychotherapist, AHP, Family Therapist, CBT Therapist) interested in getting experience in a new area of CAMH practice? Are you interested in developing your experience in leadership, whilst contributing to the running of a fast-paced Adolescent Team (AT)?
An exciting opportunity has become available at Ealing CAMHS for a skilled and experienced Band 8a (1.0 WTE) Highly Specialist CAMH Practitioner to work in the AT (Tier 3) for a Fixed Term position for 6 months.
The post holder will work as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team holding a caseload, providing mental health assessments and a range of evidence-based clinical interventions to children, adolescents and their families. They will offer supervision to colleagues, and consultation, training and advice to professionals working across multi-agencies. They will provide support to the CAMH Social Work leadership structure and the Ealing AT leadership team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and skilled clinician to:
• Work as an autonomous clinician providing advanced mental health support and treatment for children & young people, carrying out comprehensive assessments (including risk and development of risk management plans) and offering specialist intervention packages using a variety of treatment models
• Make clear autonomous decisions based on analysis of complex presenting problems & judgments based on available treatment options
• Confidently communicate at a high level both verbally and in writing, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Provide training, consultation and advice to colleagues in the team and across multi-agencies involved with child and adolescent mental health
• Provide clinical, professional and management supervision as appropriate for CAMHS Practitioners in Ealing CAMHS
• Take an active role in the development of specialist CAMHS projects and services under the supervision of the team lead.
