About the job

Responsible to perform service work, such as troubleshooting, condition audits and maintenance work for customer’s fired boiler or waste heat recovery systems in shipyards, offshore and power plants all over the world. Main Tasks:

• Assist L1/L2 Engineers to handle customers' issues directly
• Recommend suitable and relevant solutions to solve customers' issues
• Provide maintenance support for all network infrastructure
• Provide monthly network infrastructure performance review report and capacity planning recommendations
• Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the implemented solutions in meeting user's requirements and work processes and procedures.
• Ensure timeliness & quality of project delivery.
• Structured cabling system implementation and cross connect provisioning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• In depth practical experience in LAN/WAN implementation which include router & switches setup and configuration.
• Knowledge and experience with networking protocols, including BGP, VXLAN EVPN, OSPF, IOX-XR, NX-OS
• Structured Network Infrastructure for Layer 2 & 3 support.
• Certification in CCNA, CCNP is highly preferred
• Shift work required

ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Customer Engineer on the Cloud Intelligence team, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) who advises customers on the differences between Google Cloud Platform (GCP) offerings. You will engage with the Sales teams, Customer Engineering teams, Marketing, and field leadership to position and differentiate from competition and help land wins. You'll master the latest technologies across multiple public cloud providers to help customers build solutions on GCP.

Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide technical and business decision-makers through their Cloud selection process.
• Stay up-to-date with the ecosystem of software vendors in the Cloud space by analyzing OpenAI and open-source services to extract technical and business insights that drive reference architectures, runbooks, blogs, and training content.
• Create field enablement materials for internal communities of SMEs and the broader GCP field (solutions architects, sellers, and consultants) to help them understand how our offerings integrate and compare with other Cloud Service Provider’s offerings.
• Work with customers’ development and data science teams to deeply understand their business and technical needs, and design solutions that make the best use of the GCP cloud platform and services to address their requirements.
• Create and adopt assets and automation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 8 years of customer-facing experience as a solutions architect, data scientist, technical consultant, or technical pre-sales.
• 5 years of experience in all phases of the pre-sales cloud engagements.
• Experience in deploying, fine-tuning, and consuming proprietary and open-source Cloud Native services.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certification in Google Cloud or similar.
• Experience with thought leadership and innovation around Cloud Transformation.
• Experience as a leader bringing mentorship, with the ability to work in a matrix environment across stakeholders.
• Ability to be a trusted advisor to customers by building, guiding, and facilitating relationships with technical executives, data scientists, and system architects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop actionable plans quickly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
