Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement game audio systems, including sound effects, music composition, and voice.
2. Responsible for composing music tailored for various game contexts and scenarios.
3. Responsible for the development and maintenance of audio engines and tools to support the audio needs of game projects.
4. Work closely with the game development team to provide high-quality audio experiences for games.
5. Manage, integrate, and optimize audio resources to ensure effective operation within games.
6. Solve audio technology and engineering problems, providing technical support and solutions.
7. Review final audio mixes for issues, ensuring they meet industry standards.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
2. 2 years or above of experience as an audio engineer or in a related role.
3. In-depth understanding and extensive experience with game audio technology, familiar with commonly used audio tools and engines. (e.g. MetaSounds, FMOD, etc)
4. Experience with audio programming languages and possess good programming skills. (e.g. C++, C#)
5. Experience with sound editing and recording equipment. (e.g. mixing)
6. Working knowledge of recording software and hardware (e.g. Logic Pro, Adobe Audition)
7. Knowledge of how to utilize Unity and Unreal Engine for audio integration and implementation.
8. Good communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to collaborate closely with game development teams.
9. Prior experience in audio engineering or related positions is preferred.
10. Continuous learning and research awareness of trends and latest technologies in audio technology.
