The HR & Payroll Executive is pivotal in supporting the Local MU organization by fostering a performance culture and enhancing associate engagement. This multifaceted role encompasses various HR functions, including day-to-day HR operations, signature HR processes, payroll delivery, data management, policy and handbook compilation, SOP review and updates, compensation and benefits administration, and employee relations. With accountability for executing the local HR agenda, the HR & Payroll Executive plays a crucial role in driving organizational success and employee satisfaction.
You will play an important role, such as:
Payroll Management:
- Oversee and manage the payroll process for employees within the Malaysia MU organization.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including deductions, bonuses, and other compensations.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve any payroll-related queries or issues.
Policy Compilation and Handbook Development:
- Compile, review, and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and organizational guidelines.
- Develop employee handbooks to provide comprehensive guidance on company policies, procedures, and benefits.
Ensure the dissemination of updated policies and handbooks to employees and conduct training sessions if necessary.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Review and Updates:
- Review existing SOPs across various HR functions and identify areas for improvement or updates.
- Work closely with relevant departments to implement changes to SOPs as needed.
- Ensure that all SOPs are up-to-date, compliant with regulations, and effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
HR Service Support:
- Provide support to employees and management on HR-related inquiries, such as benefits, leaves, and policies.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including preparing documentation and coordinating orientation programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare regular reports on HR metrics, payroll processing, and compliance-related matters.
- Monitor HR activities to ensure adherence to legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist in audits and compliance checks, providing necessary documentation and support as required.
