Our client, Within Minutes Pty Ltd, is an IT company that brings over five years of expertise in the field. Currently, they are looking for an experienced ICT Support Technician to join their team on a full-time and contract basis.
With a wealth of experience in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay-per-click (PPC) marketing, web design, and graphic design, Within Minutes specialises in crafting effective omnichannel marketing initiatives. This empowers clients to focus on closing deals while they expertly oversee their digital marketing efforts. The business is located at 1 Firth Avenue, Green Valley, New South Wales 2168.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
• Providing main support and repairing technical equipment, including desktops, printers, smart boards, projectors, AV equipment, and peripherals.
• Performing regular imaging on the main computer and hard drive and re-imaging on machines.
• Developing a maintenance schedule for all computer hardware, software, and networks, and ensure that it is followed.
• Managing the structure of clients' internet and internal systems and contributing to their development.
• Monitoring the efficiency of clients' networks.
• Ensuring that safety checks on routing, including electrical tests are carried out and appropriate records are maintained.
• Diagnosing and resolving computers, printers, and peripheral device faults.
• Maintaining electronic mail account and implementing where appropriate.
• Ensuring the safe disposal of obsolete equipment, used consumables, and waste materials in line with recognised procedures and legal requirements.
• Responding to Web Help Desk service requests and maintaining accurate task logs.
• Maintaining an accurate inventory database.
• Recording problems and their solutions for future reference.
• Ordering equipment and supplies.
• Performing basic server and network diagnostic routines.
• Performing checks to ensure that broadband connectivity is maintained.
• Giving clients some guidance on the ICT acceptable use policy.
• Working out the reasons for a fault and explaining these to the client.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in IT or IT degree.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
Salary:
$60,000 to $75,000 per year plus superannuation
