GIS Analyst Your new company Our client is a public sector agency. Your new role

Technical specifications and test case review (i.e. "as is" and "to be" analysis)
GIS SME stakeholder engagement
Where applicable, be able to collaborate with the spatial vendor to aid in solution development and testing
Influence and negotiate with stakeholders (internal and external) to obtain consensus for change initiatives to facilitate scoping and setting business priorities.
Testing
Ability to design and maintain efficient documented requirements that specify system integration and implementation (/ rollout)
Align the integration specifications with cross stream functionality. What you'll need to succeed
Enhance business systems by providing accurate information about business needs and priorities
Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases to support achievement of business objectives
Extract data reports and review information to identify trends, system pain points and opportunities for business improvement across the business
Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences

Contributing to how Uber continually improves the safety of our platform by designing new mitigation practices, supporting implementation of new products or problem solving as a team with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. You will spend your time working with local teams in ANZ as well as global teams from the US, LATAM and Europe!

Roles and responsibilities as a Sr. Safety Manager:

Owner of Personal Safety for ANZ
Facilitating risk assessments when new product offerings are put on the platform
Subject matter expert for personal safety areas such as Sexual Assault, Physical Assault and Occupational Violence
Building and maintaining external relationships with NGO partners such as She's a Crowd, WESNET, TGV, FullStop Australia and Safeguarding and Child Protection.

ANZ Mobility POC
Incident escalations for decision
Stakeholder management: GM, Director Marketplace, Driver Head, etc.
Regulatory ops key contact
Education PoC of relevant team members
Safety advice into service and product launches on business growth bets
Safety product rollout PoC

Data Insights
Interpreting data for all business review MBR/QBR/WBR
Investigation and recommendation on top of insights

ANCAP Management
External relationship
Maintaining process
Guiding Ops teams through process
Demonstrating good judgment and decision making

Skills and competencies:
Independent critical thinking and problem solving to tackle big challenges
Stakeholder engagement and management
Independently identifying improvement opportunities and challenging the status quo
Independently evaluating business growth ambitions for potential safety risks
Using various inputs such as external data, regulation changes etc as well as internal data, business changes and experience to predict where safety risk may arise
