• Conduct in depth credit analysis of corporate clients engaged in the commodities sector, assessing financial statements, cash flow and overall financial health.
• Assess the inherent risks linked to commodities trading, market trends and external factors that could influence the creditworthiness of clients.
• Conduct a thorough review of the credit portfolio to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant information and insights.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Banking / Finance / Business Studies
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis.
• Strong knowledge of commodities markets, trading strategies and risk factors.

Job Description:

• Assess companies loan applications
• Assist with ad-hoc processes and projects eg. Loan Management and Data Analysis
• Maintain operational metrics and provide data backed insights on business and credit operations.
• Work closely with Operations, Sales and Credit Risk to deliver key services such as Merchant Financing.
• Support Ad-Hoc duties as assigned.

The Requirement:

• A recognized Diploma qualification, preferably in Business, Finance, Operation Management, Economics, Computer Science and Engineering
• Strong MS Office skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Basic understanding of the local financial regulatory environment, compliance and customer due diligence process.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
• A lateral thinker and creative problem solver with strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to commit for 1 year.
