JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
This position supervises the day-to-day activities, discipline and productivity of the logistics part, ensuring smooth flow of logistics activities, including transportation, shipment, customs and distribution and compliance as well as optimization of all materials and product delivery.
• Plan and organise the routine logistics flow and activities for all stores within the region, meeting optimization standard.
• Coordinate with external parties such as local logistic service companies, freight forwarding company, wholesale customers, Zegna Headquarter to ensure timely transportation, shipment and distribution of materials and products.
• Ensure all stock is managed and updated through our stock control system including planning and facilitating stocktake procedure and ensure high inventory accuracy on an ongoing basis.
• Liaise with external parties to ensure proper documentation and compliance on shipment, import and export procedures.
• Closely monitor and analyse stock situation and shipment status on a regular basis and maintain appropriate status reports as required by manager. Alert manager of any issues regarding shipments and delivery.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Diploma in logistics management or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in retail or FMCG industry
- Sound planning and organizational skills
- Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems and knowledge of all aspects of warehouse operations
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Good command of English.
- Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure
