• Managing an analytics suite of key Ocean Freight metrics / indices and synthesizing such to provide key market insights in the management of the commodity
• Progressing productive working relationships with our key suppliers and enable supplier innovation through the leadership of a multi-tier supplier relationship strategy
• Leveraging advanced negotiating techniques, as appropriate, in commercial, contractual and service level dialog with suppliers

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field (MBA or post graduate degree preferred) Appropriate levels of experience (10 years+) will be accepted in lieu of meeting educational requirements
• 7 years+ procurement experience working within a large, global, center-led procurement organization (5 years+ considered for candidates with MBA or post graduate degree)
• 3 year+ specific commodity experience in the management of ocean procurement within a 3rd party forwarder environment or in a high volume ocean shipper
• Exceptional analytical capability to digest complex data and derive appropriate and meaningful business insights

Here at BCA Logistics, we touch over a million vehicles a year, working with manufacturers, fleet operators and dealers to provide the backbone of the UK's automotive supply chain.

Due to our ever-increasing volumes, we are looking to engage additional Self-Employed Driver contractors throughout the UK who can help us deliver that service.

What do I need? - No experience is needed as a full 2-day technical service familiarisation seminar available, at a site local to you. You do not need your own vehicle and there is no initial outlay of any cost. We do however require the following (essential):

• Held a full UK Manual Driver Licence for at least 2 years (registered to your current home address).
• No more than 9 points on your licence (and no serious motoring offences).
• Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes).
• Are punctual and reliable with a polite and professional demeanour.
• Excellent customer service skills.

What will I be doing? - You will be collecting a variety of different vehicles from clients, checking they are safe for you to drive and delivering these to the required destination. On some occasions you may carry out an inspection on the vehicles.
