The role

As a Engineering Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be responsible for delivering crucial engineering administrative support to the workshop on a daily basis, essential for facilitating the main tender and repair processes.

Day to day, you'll serve as the central hub in the workshop, handling the receipt and issuance of equipment and documentation, you will also:

• Maintain and update records for equipment maintenance and repair using MOD asset management systems known as JAMES, with training provided if needed.
• Supply equipment owners and Engineering Supervisors with forecasts for equipment maintenance activities adhering to MoD polices.
• Coordinate and schedule dangerous goods ADR inspections and any secondary contractor maintenance for MOD equipment
• Fulfill the responsibilities of tehicnal librarian in alignment with MoD policies

This role is 37 hours per week, providing a fantastic 4 ½ day work week (Monday to Thursday: 0800 - 1630, Friday: 0800 - 1300). You will work onsite (with flexible working options available once established) based at RSME Minley, Hampshire.

Essential experience of the Engineering Administrator:

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Experienced with administrational tasks and responsibilities

• Prepare and develop various documentations (e.g. Tender, SOPs, Work Instruction, Reports, etc.) and monitor the validity & expiry of each documentation.
• Assist as the System Administrator for section’s Maintenance Management System (MMS)
• Monitor and track Asset Life Cycle for planning of asset renewal and/or disposal
• Support Budgetary Planning and Costings
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Business Admin / Supply Chain
• Possess 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in Asset Management / Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Logistic / Warehousing
• No experience are welcome and training will be provided
• Prior experience from equipment maintenance industry or with experience in electrical spare parts is advantageous
• Hands-on experience on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Maximo, Oracle) is advantageous
• Able to work well independently and in a team under a challenging and fast-paced environment

Job Description

• Perform the full range of automotive maintenance and repair;
• Diagnostic tests by standard procedures
• Carry out maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on vehicles,
• Ensuring minimum turnover time for scheduling repairs and inspections to meet workshop’s service standards and according to job order
• Notify the team leader of unusual repair problems that will require major repair and replacement parts for recommendation
• Requisitions and pick up vehicles and equipment parts from the store to complete work assignment
• Practice safe and proper engineering practices by manufacturer or workshop instructions and procedures
• Provide technical guidance to technicians on more complex repair work
• Performs other related duties as required by the team leader or supervisors

Deine Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Betriebs-Verantwortung für die DDI Infrastruktur in Deutschland, d.h. Sicherstellung eines stabilen und qualitativ hochwertigen Betriebs basierend auf ITIL-Prinzipien

• Administration unserer Efficient IP Infrastruktur, gemäß definierter KPIs und SLAs

• Unterstützung bei der Planung, Entwicklung und Umsetzung von neuen DDI-Lösungen

• Mitwirkung des IP Adress Managements

• Mitarbeit bei der Automatisierung von Arbeitsabläufen

Gewünschte Fähigkeiten und Qualifikationen

• IT-bezogenen Ausbildung oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation. Ein Abschluss als Bachelor in einem IT-bezogenen Studienfach oder eine vergleichbarer Qualifikation ist wünschenswert

• Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse und fortgeschrittene Englischkenntnisse

• Sie haben erste Netzwerkkenntnisse über IP Address Management, DHCP und DNS 

• Sie haben Erfahrungen bei einem oder mehreren der folgenden Produkte: Efficient IP, Infoblox, BlueCat, NetBox, BIND, DHCPD

• Wünschenswert sind Erfahrungen im Bereich Automatisierung (beispielsweise Ansible)
