The job role
This role is full time permanent position reporting to Accountant within the Finance Department.
The incumbent will support the Accountant in the day-to-day accounting functions in the Finance Department. Main responsibilities will be to manage AR and AP functions plus if capable manage the full set of accounts and preparation of financial and management reporting.
Key duties
*Production of month end management accounts including P&L,balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
*Management of accruals, prepayments, depreciation and petty cash month journals.

Junior Clinical Fellow in Vascular Access and Transplantation Surgery Applications are invited for the post of clinical fellow in Vascular Access and Transplantation surgery. This post will be suitable for a candidate who wants to develop their knowledge and skills in vascular access surgery with additional benefit of learning about renal and transplant surgery. The post holder will be heavily involved in pre-opt clinics, operative surgery and post opt care including vascular access MDT's. In addition the post will entail participating in renal transplant surgery and laparoscopic live donor nephrectomy at St Georges Healthcare NHS trust and St Helier hospital All transplants are currently performed on the St Georges site. The surgeons are responsible for providing renal transplantation and renal surgery for St Georges hospital, St Helier hospital and the Royal Sussex county hospital. The post is available for one year. A requirement for the positions is registration with the General Medical Council. The post holder: Is responsible to the Consultants and Registrar for the execution of their professional duties. They shall ensure that patients admitted to the ward undergo a medical assessment and ensure that a robust and appropriate management plan is in place, with the support of their team. They will attend 2 consultant led ward rounds per week and will undertake daily ward rounds (either supported by a SpR or independently led) They will, together with the team, undertake ward work to ensure that investigations are requested and treatment plans are completed. They will ensure that good communication is maintained with staff in all specialties in order to provide joined-up care for the patients. They will work as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to meetings and team decisions on patient care. They are responsible for the daily maintenance of in-patient notes, preparing discharge letters (TTAs) for immediate dispatch to the patients General Practitioner and communicate with primary care and community services as needed. They shall be expected to speak with patients and their next of kin if required and provide an update on management plans. In carrying out their duties the Doctor will always be responsible for keeping their Senior Staff informed of serious cases on the ward, deaths, and any other matter which it is deemed necessary that their attention should be drawn to. Any cases in which there is doubt must be referred to a senior member of staff. General Medicine On-call The Medical Take is staffed by 1 SpR, 2 SHO grade and an F1 grade doctor. There is an average of 25-30 patients admitted over a 24-hour period. During the day, there is a continuous consultant post take ward round providing the opportunity for immediate feedback and learning. Overnight, Consultant advice is available by telephone, and patients are reviewed on the morning post take ward round.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for full-time, fixed-term Junior Clinical Fellows to join our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

We are one of the leading teaching hospitals in the UK, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities. It is the home of Warwick Medical School, providing wide-ranging opportunities to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research. UHCW is situated in the heart of the West Midlands with easy access to the rural Warwickshire countryside, Birmingham and London.

The successful candidates will be primarily responsible for looking after in-patients and emergency referrals to OMFS, and assisting in emergency and elective theatre activity. There will opportunity to gain exposure to many areas of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, which may include Craniomaxillofacial Trauma, Orthognathics, Temporomandibular joint surgery, the full remit of head and neck surgery including reconstructive surgery and thyroid surgery.

• Work with other members of the Maxillofacial team to provide a comprehensive general surgical service to the Trust, Primary Care Trusts and General Practitioners

• Provide a consultation and advisory service to clinical colleagues in other specialties within the Trust and Primary Care when on-call.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with medical colleagues in other specialties and participate in regular clinical meetings and other post graduate activities.
• Participate in the professional supervision and development of trainee doctors within the specialty.
• Demonstrate a firm understanding in Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Clinical Audit – this will include the development and maintenance of appropriate systems and practices to ensure continued safe clinical practice.

The timetable will be dependent on the clinical experience and educational aspirations of the appointed candidate, but they should expect to spend some time in different subspecialty areas of OMFS akin to a registrar rotation.
