ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Photography Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of full-time photographers capturing photos and video that supports CoStar Group products. CoStar Group photographers provide high-quality photography, 3D virtual tours, drone imagery and video on commercial and residential properties as well as neighborhoods, parks, and schools to capture the features and highlights of each. CoStar Group customers rely on our team to offer content that drives real estate transactions. As a Photography Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that photographers are always meeting both production and quality standards. Meeting deadlines for both external and internal clients is a critical part of your responsibilities. Working in the field with each of your photographers at least twice a month to ensure best practices are implemented and provide coaching and mentoring is required.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the preparation, audit and filing of the financial statements of our 12+ international subsidiaries in EMEA, APAC & South America.
For 4 of these countries in Europe we manage the accounting in house. For the others the accounting is outsourced to a third party big 4 vendor. For all territories preparation of the financial statements is outsourced to the same vendor. A handful of territories require audit (including UK, France and Singapore). The role requires liaison with the vendor and auditor including timetabling, supplying trial balances, ensuring fulfilment of Provided by Client requests, answering any questions about the balances and accounting and arranging sign off and filing of the financial statements.
The vendor manages the conversion from US GAAP to local GAAP. Where we complete the bookkeeping in house, maintenance of Oracle secondary ledgers is required.
The role also entails preparation of the quarterly consolidated international flux analysis for SOX control purposes.
The role also is engaged in leading the Global monthly close process (US & international), specializing in areas such as cash, prepaid expenses, property, plant and equipment, employee compensation, marketing, leases and other expenses, including the review of (i) monthly journal entries and (ii) account reconciliations. This position will help to streamline our existing Global close process and find efficiencies to reduce the amount of time to close and further accelerate the time in which it takes to provide financial results to management.
The Accounting Manager will also work with the Financial Planning and Analysis team and meet with various other departments to understand fluctuations from budget and forecast to assist in the monthly close process. This position will work directly with external auditors in facilitating the quarterly reviews and year-end audits as well as assisting in the implementation of an accounting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
The Accounting Manager should have an in-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“USGAAP”) including experience in accounting for international subsidiaries, strong project management, time management and organizational skills; strong work ethic; and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The Accounting Manager should also be highly adaptable to change due to CoStar’s rapid growth via organic growth and acquisitions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Geospatial Technical Services Manager will act as the database administrator and data steward for geospatial data assets within the Geography team at CoStar. This position will play a critical role in modernizing our program by establishing standards for our data load process, maintaining version control and data quality standards, developing our technical architecture strategy, making GIS hardware and software licensing recommendations, and developing automated routines for publishing and validating geospatial data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain current production and development geospatial databases, including monitoring and resolving database load and performance issues.
Deploy geospatial data updates within service level agreements and/or scheduled maintenance windows.
Manage the installation, configuration, upgrade, and troubleshooting of GIS software, including publication of web and map services, testing of database connectivity, and patching server infrastructure.
Enhance, optimize and maintain existing processes through greater automation.
Prepare detailed architecture documentation and data interdependency diagrams across the organization.
Provide recommendations to management for GIS software and hardware upgrades.
Maintain server infrastructure to support the ArcGIS Enterprise environment using infrastructure provisioning tools for data center and cloud environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve GIS system issues and provide enhanced remediation and mitigation solutions to help prevent repeat incidents.
Work closely with internal staff through all stages of projects - product/project ideation, business analysis, technical analysis and development, and project management and long-term support.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Geographical Sciences, Computer Science, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or other related field.
8+ years of GIS engineering experience, and/or deep database engineering experience.
5+ years of experience working in design, development, deployment, and support of GIS solutions.
Advanced understanding of RDS and SQL technology; SQL query familiarity, to include the ability to write queries
Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise setup, configuration and administration.
Experience with ArcGIS and Esri (Online, Pro, and Enterprise).
Experience managing other GIS Data Engineers and Analysts.
Advanced python scripting skills.

Experience with developing, maintaining, and the deployment of web-based GIS solutions using Javascript, HTML, CSS. Experience developing spatial data ETL scripts and tools using Python, or other scripting languages.
