Job Responsibilities:

Finance:

• Able to manage full set of accounts. Responsible for compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
• To ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and prepare required financial reports to Management.
• Responsible for preparation and closing of annual financial statements.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.
• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, staff claims, etc.)
• Responsible for company’s insurance (FW Bonds, medical insurance, etc) matters
• Develop the annual budget and optimize expenses for the organization.
• Evaluate and improve processes and system implementation whenever required.

HR:

• Develop and execute talent management strategies, total rewards strategies, and other HR strategies.
• Recruit, support, and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. Provide counselling on policies and procedures.
• Development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
• Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
• Develop training and development programs.
• Assist in performance management processes.
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
• Supervising immediate subordinates to ensure they fulfil their duties.
• Working with other department Heads to fulfil contractual commitments and provide excellent service delivery.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Finance, Accountancy, HR, or Equivalent
• Min 5 years of relevant experience in MNC companies

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Execute and ensure compliance with the Account Payable processes & policy for the group.
• Required to lead the AP team and provide supervision, and support for AP assistants.
• Continue to improve the Account Payable function work process and payment process.
• Processing of AP invoices, including verification, coding, data entry, and approval.
• Match purchase orders to invoices and perform invoice entry into ERP.
• Identify and flag any irregularities detected during invoice processing.
• Process staff claims via eclaim portal.
• Process payments through receiving, processing, verifying, and compliance with company policy.
• Perform monthly payment runs to suppliers and employees.
• Prepare standard journal entries pertaining to accounts payable function.

• Prepare balance sheet schedules - AP Portion.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant AP experience.
• Proficient in MS applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Meticulous and numerically inclined.
