Job Description:

10. Main POC respond to facility and equipment emergency alarms and system failures.
11. Main POC to coordinate with the Authorities for inspection of building facilities, equipment and ensure that they meet the local safety requirements and standards.
12. Prompt response to maintenance service requests within internal departments, investigate and initiate corrective actions for any service and equipment breakdown or fault detected.
13. Cocontracte and supervise contractors for upgrading works related to building & facilities.
14. To supervise contractor works on weekend when required.
15. To monitor utilities meters, e.g., water, electrical, gas meter readings.
16. To carry out minor repair works, e.g., door lock, replace light bulbs, etc.
17. Work well with colleagues within Facilities department and across other departments.

Qualification:

General Duties

NTU is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in the Office of Development and Facilities Management. The department oversees the physical development and maintenance of all University buildings and grounds in support of the academic, research and administrative functions of the University. As the Senior Executive, Maintenance Operations, you are responsible for the management of the student hostels in the Residential Zone to ensure that they are safe to use and functional at all times for the enjoyment of the residents.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise maintenance activities to ensure inspection programmes and preventive maintenance works are carried out as planned and in accordance with standards expected. Follow up promptly on corrective maintenance works to minimize downtime.
• Supervise daily and cyclical cleaning programs, conduct regular inspections and monthly performance assessment to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Understand scope of user’s requirements, develop work proposals and estimate associated costs. Oversee procurement of services, supervise work progress and ensure materials and workmanship meet standards.
