Overview: A Shipping Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing the shipping process to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role involves working closely with carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and overseeing logistics to meet customer requirements.
Duties & key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end shipping process, including transportation, customs clearance, and delivery.
- Work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
- Prepare shipping documents such as invoices and packing list.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, prepare monthly report for LMW regulation.
- Provide shipping updates to customers.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Work with warehouse teams to manage stock levels.
- Coordinate shipments based on demand and inventory.
- Monitor shipping costs and seek cost-effective solutions.
- Assist in managing the shipping budget.
- Any other duties assigned by the management as and when required.
Qualifications:
- Prefer Mandarin speaker.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics is preferred.
- Basic understanding of shipping regulations.
