Job Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves as a coach to leadership in assigned business units/regions/facilities to ensure effective teammate relations in matters of supervision, discipline, termination, motivation and performance management procedures, practices and policies.  Conducts timely and thorough complaint/charge investigations and makes appropriate recommendations.  Prepares case findings and recommendations for review by HR Leadership and Legal Department. 
• Leads culture and engagement in assigned facilities by ensuring effective communication plans driving teammate engagement; serves as a liaison between teammates and O&M Leadership; promotes and fosters ‘open door’ culture.
• Acts as an impartial teammate advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment.
• Reviews dashboard information and makes recommendations to management and leadership for continuous improvement including follow-up; generates, analyzes, and presents HR metrics reporting to management.
• Drives internal teammate communications plans regarding policy changes and organization announcements; can include compensation, benefits, or company policies in conjunction with corporate HR center of excellence teams.
• Works with management to drive the performance management process, development plans, and individual performance improvement plans for teammates in the assigned facilities.
• Partners with HR colleagues and field operations leadership team in development and execution of human resources initiatives to meet business goals.
• Works with the HR Leadership and Legal in giving background and preparing response materials for civil and EEOC charges. Communicates, implements and administers company policies/procedures in the areas of affirmative action, benefits, and compensation, training, employment/outplacement and quality initiatives to meet the business goals.
• Provides individual coaching/counseling to all teammates using conflict resolution and mediation techniques, intervention and change management strategies as circumstances dictate.  Refers teammates to the appropriate resources/services, where applicable.
• Leverages the exit survey process and related turnover data to identify and address retention issues.
• Performs additional duties as directed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
• 4 or more years of related experience (HR Business Partner/Generalist, HR Center of Excellence, etc.)
• SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR certifications preferred
• Or any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with the leadership team to provide strategic counsel regarding the unit's vision, mission, structure, processes and people.  Recommends, designs, and facilitates implementation of solutions while also ensuring alignment with the company's strategic direction.
• Leads HR services initiation, oversight and delivery for the business unit (employee relations, compensation administration, performance management, change management, talent management, decision support, etc.), coordinating with HR peers and Centers of Excellence (COE’s) to deliver consistent services across the business units/organization.
• Leads a group of human resources professionals who support the needs of the business unit’s leadership/management teams, ensuring they provide strategic insight and delivery of the organization’s HR operations and functions.
• Coordinates and builds process tools, collateral materials, and presentations to support organizational design and development initiatives/roll-out.  Leverages work across regions and business units to increase uniformity, efficiency and scalability of work.
• Partners closely with the Total Rewards COE in designing, implementing and administering competitive salary, benefits, incentives and recognition programs.
• Collaborates with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition COE’s to drive strategic workforce planning initiatives.
• Conducts gap analyses, collaborating with Learning & Development COE to ensure appropriate career development programs and initiatives are aligned with critical skill development and succession planning.
• Leads staffing analysis, ensuring the right teammates are in the right place at the right time.  Monitors turnover and temporary labor, ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective resources are being utilized.
• Manages Performance Management and feedback processes with a focus on developing manager capability on employing these processes and obtaining best in class results.  Delivers talent management processes aligned with corporate strategy.
• Leads the provision of proactive teammate relations guidance and counsel to business unit leadership.  Manages HR personnel’s guidance and counsel to teammates and management on teammate relations issues.

Part-Time Human Resource Executive

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, employee welfare, training and development and ensure monthly payroll processing is prepared accurately within specific timelines.
• Responsible for Employment Pass and other work passes, Application/Renewal/Cancellation.
• Process submission of IR21, IR8A, Work Injury, Maternity leave, CPF and other Government Claims.
• Maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date employee’ records for accurate reporting.
• Handle staff leaves, claims and insurance.
• Assist with annual salary review/appraisal and bonus exercises.
• Ensure HR Policies comply with current Employment Act and Government Regulation.
• Attendance administrator for Attendance Management System.
• Plan and organize employee welfare/engagement activities together with the welfare committee.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or equivalent.
