Key Responsibilities

1. Establish and improve the internal control system closely following the business development, conduct regular risk assessment and special investigation from the business perspective, formulate annual internal control work oriented by business strategy and risk, identify major risks, formulate coping strategies and solutions, and promote the implementation of key control activities

2. Qualifications

1. Full-time bachelor degree or above, more than 5 years of internal control/compliance/audit/risk management experience in payment and other internet/financial industries, and/or internal control/risk management department consultation in the four major financial industry groups, successful project implementation is preferred

2. Experience in risk management or systematic construction by using data-based methods, data analysis, IT audit, proficiency in SQL, etc. are preferred

3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)CICPA or ACCA professional qualification or registered Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification is preferred

Primary purpose

• To provide specialist radiology services across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District and to deliver these services in a way that will best meet the clinical needs of the patient and the diagnostic and/or interventional requirements of the referring clinician.
• To actively promote and participate in educational forums and to instruct, supervise and support radiology JMOs and other clinicians to ensure that service provisions are safe, accurate, appropriate and timely.

More detail about the role: The post holder will support the Senior Audit and Assurance Manager, in the delivery of the internal audit service to organisations within ASW Assurance by: Performing a large range of audit assignments of a complex/ad-hoc and non-financial nature in addition to a broad range of routine financial, governance and operational audit assignments in line with Public Sector Internal Audit Standards and the ASW Assurance Audit Manual, to agreed timescales. This may be based upon an overall generic supervisory and support role or acting as a Consortium expert lead for a defined specialist area. Taking extensive responsibility for the operational audit management of substantial allocated elements of client audit plans in support of the Senior Audit and Assurance Managers overall responsibility to deliver all client operational audit plans. Applying risk management and assurance principles to the planning and delivery of audit assignments. Supervising and coaching junior audit staff. Responding to a broad range of requests for advice and assistance and queries from clients including sensitive, confidential and complex issues from all levels of client staff. We have partnered with Illawarra/ Shaolahaven Health District assisting to fill their Specialist positions in Anaesthetics. The Consultant positions are primarily based out of Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Anaesthetist will provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within the Anaesthetics Service. The Anaesthetist is responsible for the provision of specialist anaesthetic services to emergency patients, inpatients and outpatients at the relevant Hospital.

The Anaesthetist will ensure provision of high quality anaesthetic services to all patients within the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.

The Anaesthetist will proactively:

* Support the development of anaesthetic services

* Support and facilitate a culture of learning and best practice

* Support and develop anaesthesia research within the department

SELECTION CRITERIA

1. Specialist registration or eligible for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

2. Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) and/or equivalent specialist recognition or eligible for Fellowship within 6 months of interview.

3. Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position.

4. Proven capacity and/or experience in the provision of effective high quality services, including but not limited to Paediatric anaesthesia, demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position including evidence of participation in quality improvement activities relevant to the specialty.

5. Demonstrated commitment to teaching with experience in teaching both undergraduate and post graduate students and other staff of the hospital.

6. Demonstrate the skills and attitudes appropriate as a Senior Medical Practitioner including modelling a high standard of professional behaviour to junior medical staff.
