     Salary range:  $159,878 - $161,663 superannuation and leave loading

About the team
The Major Hazard Facilities (MHF) Team is the whole of government taskforce responsible for preventing, responding to and recovering from incidents at sites where large quantities of hazardous chemicals are present. The MHF team is responsible for administering the WHS legislation (particularly WHS Regulations 2017, Chapter 9 and Schedule 15) and the Explosives legislation. The team is responsible for assessing, reviewing, and verifying MHF licenced or determined facilities / sites and provides technical expertise and guidance to help improve Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance within the industry.

• Be responsible for Die Prep equipment day to day line sustaining, PM and conversion.
• Able to hands on and provide systematic problem analysis.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze complex problems and 5 why analysis.
• Be available for overtime work when needed.
• Experience in PM and major down troubleshooting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure production machine performance is well maintain.
• Assist process/equipment engineers to carry out or setup new device evaluation / engineering run when needed.
• Practice 6’s every time after maintenance/repairing /conversion
• Ensure all activities perform to the environment procedures.
• Ensure that all waste/ chemical are properly store/label and scrap.   
• Maintain and perform troubleshooting   on assigned operation.
• Highlight to superior any activities in the company that may be contrary to the environment policy.
• Hand shake Passover/communication book and daily machine status report.
• Follow all environmental procedures in carrying out daily activities
• Highlight to supervisor of any activities in the company that may be contrary to environment policy.
• Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
