As our Finance Business Partner for BLINK Design Group, you will be part of the management team, report to the Associate Director and work on financial strategy and implementation for the region and be involved in driving initiatives for effective business performance. Working closely with the leadership, you will be responsible for setting metrics for financial success, devising insightful MIS, investigating the feasibility of existing and new service offerings, and assessing business profitability from existing and new clients. You will be a sounding board and trusted advisor, offering support, guidance and training to the BLINK Design Group leadership and project leaders for financial and contractual decisions across multiple geographies.
Specific responsibilities
· Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
· Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
· Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
· Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
· Providing insights on analysis of operational performance, industry dynamics, macroeconomic trends and the competitor landscape
· Working with business partners, technical teams, project managers and other teams to identify and deliver projects to drive expansion, free cash flow, and improved customer experience
· Overseeing billing and fee management in the region and work closely with Studio Directors, Project Managers to ensure accurate project accounting
· Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, overhead expense budget and productivity projections
· Reviewing customer and vendor contracts and provide appropriate feedback regarding business terms, as required
· Ensure Local Financial Statutory Compliance including local FRS/IFRS, Audit and Taxation.
· Group Consolidation for audit / Management reporting incl. inter-co elimination
· Weekly AR /Billing & Collection forecast
· AR Reconciliation, RV Cash application
· Ensure Month End GL, JV entries
· To have a dotted line reporting to Group Finance Lead in SG in all aspects of Management reporting, credit control & internal controls
To succeed in this role, you must possess good sound of analysis with the ability to initiate and demonstrate the idea since initiate phase until execution.
Key Requirements:
• At least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• CFA license is a plus
• Minimum seven to ten years' experience in finance with proven track record
• Experience in Consultant company, Service provider or property development would be added advantages
• Good analytical skills
• Good Communication (Mandarin would be a plus)
• Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate at all levels within the organization and external clients
