Responsibilities:

• Act as team lead and escalation path for a team of order processing and logistics from the business support organization.
• Overseeing the end-to-end order processing until product delivery with aim to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute master schedule that optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and enhance on-time delivery rates.
• Evaluate capacity from forecast given by customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production team to ensure sufficient material, resources and production status can be met on time.
• Communicate with customers, team members, and management to resolve issues and ensure that deliveries are completed smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and shipping requirements.
• Ensure proper arrangement of transportation of finished goods to end customers.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks in the logistics process, such as delays or damages, and implement appropriate solutions.
  
  Requirements:
• Degree in any related field
• 2 years working experience as production planner/logistics and order management executive
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Computer literate

Job Responsibilities :

•  Responsible for overall effective logistics operation of companies including Import & export & domestic transportation.

• Work closely with the Direct Sale/Project Team to oversee the day-to-day team operations to provide integrated expertise and exceptional service for both internal and external stakeholder

• Prepare and maintain routine reports related to operation efficiency, logistic, inventory, budgeting, and computerized system data

• Internal coordination with sales, finance, warehouse, haulage, transport, operations department and other related department and external parties to fulfil agent’s or customer’s requirements.
• Communicate and build good rapport and relationship with customers, agents, liners and co-loaders.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

The incumbent is responsible for leading Abbott Nutrition’s supply chain operations from demand planning to order fulfillment.  He/she ensures the effective and efficient execution of daily and long-term operation, including but not limited to project management, demand planning, supply planning, importations, third party manufacturing, customer service, inventory management, and warehousing and distribution.

As a key leader in the organization, the incumbent is expected to lead supply chain strategic initiatives and best practices to support business strategy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive forecast accuracy through effective demand planning processes and data optimization
• Direct supply planning strategies, initiatives and methodologies to optimize inventory levels
• Ensure compliance to product quality and safety standards, policies and procedures and specifications for raw materials, productions processes and finished goods inventory
• Manage full monthly supply situation and optimize supply utilization to ensure that sales targets and customer demands are met
• Development of contingency plans to manage identified gaps in supply chain.
