Job Description:

At Highland Associates, the Client Operations and Performance Analyst role is responsible for the input and analysis of client data for reporting investment performance. The position plays a vital role in client communication, providing clients the information they need to evaluate the effectiveness of their portfolios in meeting their investment objectives.  The role is also responsible for providing operational support to the client consulting teams, which includes aiding clients with investment transactions, tracking the status of all clients’ investment reports, tracking client private equity data, and contributing to performance related projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Partners and provides operational support to the client consulting function, ensuring the reporting process aids in clients achieving their long-term investment goals
• Inputs and verifies client investment data for calculating performance
• Performs detailed analysis on client statements, ensuring returns are calculated and reported correctly to clients
• Prepares and distributes quarterly performance and monthly performance flash reports
• Generates ad-hoc reports and completes ad-hoc projects for clients
• Tracks aggregate private equity reporting for client accounts
• Tracks status of all client reports, both monthly and quarterly
• Completes performance related projects that could include: system enhancements, new module testing, report reconfiguration, etc.
• Responsible for problem resolution for reporting errors

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. ABOUT THIS POSITION

Join a diverse team of talented and inspired engineers and analysts to develop US Army Air and Missile Defense systems in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Modeling and Simulation Systems Analyst position supports system level Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Verification and Validation (V&V) and analysis activities for the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office, supporting integration, analysis, test, V&V, and evaluation of Army weapon systems. To keep pace with emerging technologies and to ensure the Warfighter remains capable against modern threats, the candidate will use high fidelity system level M&S to conduct V&V and analyses and provide assessments of system capabilities against a variety of world-wide threats. The candidate will provide M&S analytical support for specific test phases required for fielding of the Army weapon system to include Missile Defense Agency (MDA) ground test events, pre-flight analysis and post-flight reconstruction and provide comparative feedback to the customer as required. As a System Analyst, the candidate will develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools and support the Project Office in M&S technical interchange meetings, program reviews, integration and test working groups, as well as prepare for and support meetings with analyses and reports.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• 0-2 years of experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) weapons systems, data analysis, Flight/Ground tests and system modeling & simulation and/or system performance analysis
• Basic knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences or facilitate group discussions and develop accurate written materials to clearly and concisely communicate information
