About The Role
This is a 12-month contract role.
You’re responsible in contributing to the delivery and maintenance of standard and consistent full suite of Project Controls to the project, such as Cost Management, Planning & Scheduling, Risk Management, Progress and Performance Analysis and Reporting.
Accountability can be summarised as management and support of the following activities:
• Implementation the project controls processes, procedures and systems.
• Support the Project with establishing list of plans required to execute the project and their hierarchy relationship.
• Development and maintenance of accurate project schedule integrating all disciplines and functional requirements.
• Implementation of the cost management, risk management, planning and progress monitoring procedures.
• Implementation of Management of Change procedure and processes.
• Analyse project schedule and cost performance, progress trends and changes in risk profile to provide project team with forward looking unbiased view of the health of the project.
• Analyse trends that offer early warning of any deviations.
• Review scope change requests for the total installed cost & schedule impact.
• Development of cost breakdown structures, estimates, records and forecasts for the timely submission into the investment documentation, the annual corporate planning cycle, or partner cash calling submissions.
• Development of the work breakdown structure, activities, logic, resources and progress of the integrated project schedule.
• Development of Cost Time and Resource (CTR) sheets for phased cost estimates for the project, contribute to development of accurate monthly cost reports.
• Development of monthly and weekly progress updates, forecast completions, together with the critical path and trend analyses.
• Conduct Cost and Schedule Risk Assessments implementing probabilistic techniques to determine and communicate the possible range of cost and schedule outcomes for the project.
• Prepare reconciliations between earlier cost estimates and the current cost forecast.
• Identification and implementation of project controls structure, tools and procedures needed for the Project based on the contracting strategy, execution plan and the risks identified.
• Develop contract key dates, milestones and shall plan dates that align with the overall project schedule. Participate in evaluating bid schedules and reviewing contractor plans to support contract award recommendations. Develop contract sections for planning and progress reporting. Review and verify contractors reported progress and ensure that this is reflected in the project schedule.
• Contribute to Project close-out reports as input to Lessons Learned and benchmarking efforts.
• Carry out Cost and Schedule Benchmarking exercises in support of the project evaluation or competitiveness reviews. Provide support for Data Capture and Internal Benchmarking.
Competencies Required

• Computer skills – SAP, Excel, Forecaster, Primavera, Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills & ability to interface with various levels of project and organisational stakeholders
• Flexibility and speed to meet fast-moving business requirements with credible and high quality independent delivery is a critical job requirement
Job Requirements
• Engineering Degree and/or Proficiency in Project Planning and Cost Engineering.
• Project Management certification in any discipline, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years industry experience in Cost & Planning engineering in the oil & gas industry with responsibility for the establishment, maintenance, and delivery of at least one major capital project experience (>100Mln to2Bln USD).
