The Registered Nurse, Nurse Educator-Data Analyst (NE-DA) Faculty will promote a learning environment by developing and training registered nurse employees. The candidate will facilitate seminars, deliver didactic content in the classroom, tutor, facilitate simulation experiences, and monitor progresses professional development of nurses.
- NE-DA Faculty will be responsible for facilitating short and long-term care delivery projects and initiatives as assigned.
- NE-DA Faculty will be responsible for collection and interpretation of data related to care delivery. They will be an integral member of all Accreditation processes in Nursing Services.
- NE-DA will be a member of the implementation of Health Professional Scholarship Program (HPSP).
- Facilitate Nursing Orientation to all nursing staff as needed.
- Provide educational leadership to nursing staff and veterans we care in the healthcare system.
- Develop and implement and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality of all nursing educational programs.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in the maintained data sets.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Performs direct specialty nursing services to veterans as required.
Preferred Experience: DNP/PhD Nursing or related field; 5-10 years experience in a faculty role; 5-10 years experience in developing and managing programs/projects and in the use and interpretation of data and its relationship with clinical performance measures; vast verifiable experience with the transformation of raw data into meaningful statistics, information, and explanations; ability to employ sophisticated problem-solving approaches such as optimization, data mining, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling, to provide solutions that would enable more efficient and cost effective nursing services.
