In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess QTS or QTLS and you have experience teaching Science within a Secondary School. ECT's with Science placement experience will be considered. You will possess excellent behaviour management skills. You will be keen to work as part of a team, share ideas and good practice. You will be available to start immediately and continue on a long-term basis.

Hays Education are currently working with a secondary school in the heart of Coventry, who are looking for a Science Teacher to join them long term. Your new role
We are looking for someone who is passionate about their subject, and exceptional people who want their students to thrive throughout their academic life.
The successful candidate will be expected to be innovative, creative, and want to build genuine, positive relationships with students and colleagues. As a science teacher, you will be eager to go above and beyond for your students to ensure your practise has a positive impact to KS3 and KS4.
You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons to inspire students, and you will be able to deliver lessons with enthusiasm, helping students perform to the very best of their potential.
What you'll need to succeed
The appointed candidate will have full Qualified Teaching Status and be familiar with the current curriculum and its content. Experience teaching at KS5 is beneficial but not essential. Hays Education welcomes applications from new ECT's to experienced teachers.
You will have a real passion for using your teaching to make a difference to the school as well as pupils' education through providing high quality lessons and support. You must have a flexible attitude and be adaptable to any situation that arises.
