Your role is to assist with the identification, generation, and conversion of business opportunities for our client's market offerings. Effective performance of this role will positively impact market position, client satisfaction, and ultimately contribute to the financial growth of the business in line with our strategic goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market presence. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and nurturing client relationships to achieve revenue targets and organizational objectives.

The subsequent responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cultivating strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understanding client needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions that address their requirements effectively.
• Having commercial responsibility for ensuring the profitability of nominated accounts.
• Monitoring sales performance, tracking key metrics, and analyzing trends to forecast future sales projections accurately.
• Preparing regular reports and updates for senior management to provide insights into business development activities and outcomes.
• Prospecting through various channels including cold calling, networking events, digital marketing, and referrals to develop and secure sales opportunities.
• Developing mutually beneficial partnerships that drive revenue growth and create value for the company and ServiceNow, and regularly collaborating and planning with ServiceNow, to prospect and pursue joint opportunities.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to align business development efforts with overall organizational goals.
• Ensuring the business, for the nominated geography, has a robust pipeline of opportunities, acting as an integral member of our sales teams to fill sales pipeline, accelerate sales cycles and secure business closure through customer expertise, effective sales, presentation skills, and superior customer focus.
• Regularly meeting with potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
• Working with internal teams to develop proposals that are relevant to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Owning the Proposal or Bid Response process, whilst leveraging all relevant resources and ensuring the proposed outcome and/or solution is in line with client requirements, and represents the company in a professional manner
• Providing feedback to management, marketing and our solutions teams on current and future client and market requirements, understanding and communicating competitive intelligence from the field.
• Manage and Maintain CRM hygiene, ensuring that data is accurately entered and managed within the demand management system, including providing accurate forecasting of deal closure, value, and timing.

• 5+ years of sales, marketing or equivalent experience in the ICT Industry, preferably in Software and Services sales.

• Solid knowledge of the ICT industry and the modern computing landscape, including a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, emerging trends and related technology including knowledge of competitors.
• A solid understanding of business, commercial and financial concepts
• Customer-centric relationship management including value proposition selling skills
• Ability to understand the client’s business requirements, pressures and constraints, and leverage ServiceNow and the company's capability to position services and solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to work with both internal and external audiences as a spokesperson and advocate.
• Good public speaking skills are required.
• Ownership of outcomes for customers.
