We have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior level Internal Auditor with a background in Accounting/Auditing and strong ability for developing client relationships to join our Governance and Risk Advisory team. This role is designed to attract Auditors who are looking to build their experience in delivering internal audits from planning to completion, fostering growth in both their technical skills and interpersonal capabilities. The role provides an opportunity to join a high performing team, who will set you up for success in your professional development.

The successful candidate will manage a range of internal audits and complete allocated client work to a high standard of accuracy whilst achieving budgeted targets. You will also support the team in governance and risk advisory services, by assisting and guiding junior team members to complete their work.

A Senior Consultant is responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Proactively communicate with clients, developing a detailed understanding of their business to determine how Moore Australia (VIC) can best meet their needs.
- Assist with running client meetings and plan and execute internal audit projects in full.
- Draft reports and co-ordinate the delivery of the internal audit plan.
- Input into business development activities including prepare and review internal audit quotes, tenders and contracts.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with all existing clients and contacts.
- Assist with planning internal audit engagements by identifying risks to determine the internal audit strategy, agreeing the timetable and schedule.


Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in internal audit consulting.
-Exposure to NFP, community, regional and government clients.
- Evidence of continuous personal and professional development, including maintaining the required CPD hours.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge and experience with internal audit methodologies
- Wide exposure to a range of technical accounting and audit issues, audit, assurance and risk standards.

The salary range for this role is $69,000 - $86,000 base salary.
