Group Accountant

Working location: Tiong Bahru

Working timing: Mon - Fri 830am - 530pm

Salary: $4500 - $5500

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Group FM/FC for monthly, quarterly and mid year financial performance of the Group.
• Lead the collection of financial data, review and analyse month-end closing activities from reporting entities; organise monthly finance meeting with principal activities.
• Prepare and review financial forecast, update and monitor cash flow projection from reporting entities, complete actual - forecast variance analysis and identify the reasons.
• Co-ordinate and address issues arising from the internal and external audit.
• Preparation of financial statements, group consolidation and SGX results announcement.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial reports and systems.
• Develop and manage the company’s business processes and financial standards to meet the risk control requirements and to strengthen internal controls.
• Assist the Senior Financial Controller in relation to work-related field and any ad hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance, and/or professional accounting qualifications in ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
• Having audit experience will be beneficial
• Experience with public listed company reporting and regulatory is desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Report to the Senior Finance Manager and ensure adherence to financial reporting standards.
• Prepare and review annual budgets and financial statements.
• Implement budgetary controls to manage expenses effectively.
• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of arrears.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and enforce robust financial controls.
• Oversee grants and assets management, including inter-fund transfers and tax reporting.
