JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

The job

Candidate must be a qualified Chartered Secretary/ICSA associate level with minimum 3 years of post qualified experience in handling corporate secretarial duties.

This established professional services organization is looking for a Company Secretarial Assistant to join their professional team at Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.
The role
As Company Secretarial Assistant (a junior level), you will be working alongside the in-house team in performing the corporate secretarial functions. This will invariably include both the Board and Committee support, transactional work as well as subsidiary governance. Key responsibilities will include coordination of Board and Board meetings, managing annual Company Secretariat calendar of events, including lodgement of statutory filings, record management and provide administrative assistance.
What you need to succeed
You will need a part-qualified/finalist ICSA qualification or newly qualified with previous minuting experience and preparation of board agenda. A professional services background will be ideal and preferred to hold this role.
As the Company Secretarial Assistant, you will be well presented, highly articulate and able to communicate effectively in providing executive level support to a number of senior professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will be proficient in the use of Power Point, Excel and Word. You will have strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written). As Company Secretarial Assistant you will also have the ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate a good command of the language.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities within the group of subsidiary companies. This position will report to the senior Group Finance Manager of the group. She will be responsible for managing company's full set of accounts and prepare and produce basic financial reporting for the management.
Key duties:
*Production of month end management including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
*Management of accruals, prepayments,depreciation and petty cash monthly journals.
*Reconciliation of monthly key ledger balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.
*Undertake consolidation management accounts with the group.
*Complete management reporting activities such as analysis and reconciliation reports.
*Maintain accounting records and databases.
Candidate Profile & Attributes
We are looking for candidates with the following background:
*Malaysian female in age group 26-35.
*Professional qualification ACCA or CIMA (Graduate) or Bachelor degree in Accountancy.
*Ideally we are looking for candidates who have prior audit experience in Big Four professional auditing environment.
*Candidate for this role should be technical competent and up to date with all relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards.
To be considered for this role, we are looking for Accounting qualified candidates with good spoken and written command of English and conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Accounts Executive.
We are looking for candidates with positive work attitudes and who can take on challenging work. The successful applicants will need to have strong technical accounting skills, be prepared to be hands on and deal with details.
