Responsibilities
-Take charge of overall leadership, governance, organization, and management of the project team
-Manage project team resource planning, recruitment, training & development, and retention
-Plan and hire Project Engineers / Designers / Drafters as per requirements
-Coach, mentor, guide, and train Project Engineers / Designer / Drafters
-Oversee semi-annual & annual appraisal process for the project team for professional & career growth
-Execute all assigned projects ensuring Safety, Quality, Design, Procurement, Construction, Contractual, Budget, Schedule, and Resource adherence
-Ensure competent / qualified Project Engineer / Designer / Drafter assignment to projects
-Ensure project execution compliance per PQP standards
-Handle all project stakeholders (Owners, Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, Third Parties & Internal Team) for seamless project execution
-Authorize Purchase Requisitions / Invoices promptly for PO issuance & supplier payment
-Control Project Costs (including site expenditure) to maintain project profit margin
-Ensure additional works are conducted with Variation Order Request approval from customer
-Manage assigned projects' cash flow by ensuring regular progress claims submission & approval related to site work progress
-Accomplish all assigned projects’ objectives (Project On-time delivery, Project Cost within allocated budget, etc.)
-Promptly escalate challenges to MD for timely resolution
-Conduct regular meetings with the Project Team on Project status updates
-Perform other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirement
-Degree / Master in Electrical Engineering
-Proficiency in various software such as MS Office, MS Projects/Primavera
-Minimum 5 years of working experience in related field
-Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
-Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
