We are looking for an architect who is ready to be a part of a team that is developing a brand new cloud native product using cutting edge Big data technologies on AWS cloud. This position requires innate curiosity and passion for writing great code. Qualities like being self-driven with an astute focus on quality and performance and a deft eye on the scalability to deliver best products, will be critical to your success.
Minimum Qualifications
· MBA / Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in Computer Science.
· 8 - 12 years of industry experience preferably in Business Analysis / Consulting.
· Around 5 years of experience preferably in Banking with a specific focus on regulatory reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Experience with banking, with a knowledge of a range of financial products and having specific focus on regulatory reporting.
· Review current business processes, perform target state analysis, define business requirements, as well as develop functional specifications (+ credit risk, tax, various types of account, investment banking)
· Experience performing current state/future-state (AS IS -TO BE) assessments, business process redesign, and target operating models within the financial services.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Should be able to support risk regulatory reporting framework improvement and transformation project.
· Should be able to structure requirements as per development norms of SDLC with methodologies like waterfall, agile, iterative development.
· Detail oriented, problem solving skilled, client focused, with a pragmatic approach.
· Good interpersonal skills along with fluent and strong communication skills (written and oral both).
· Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks at project and requirement level.
· Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
- Maintain communication report with anticipated and identified risks to higher levels of management.
- Proficient in Agile framework, participating directly in Agile practices and producing desired artifacts.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of key financial regulatory areas (e.g. Credits, Securities, Tax etc.).
- Working experience on banking products in regulatory reporting domain and awareness on regulatory reporting, credit risk, European regulations, etc. such as Anacredit, Corep, Finrep, Surfi, etc.
- Background in business/functional consulting.
What you will do
- Implement new risk and regulatory requirements by performing gap assessments, translating risk or regulatory requirements into business requirements in Agile through User Stories.
- Set up internal control functions such as target operating models, business, and logical data/domain models.
- Support implementation of new regulations and update of existing ones handled by communicating/negotiating directly with the business stakeholders and build a blueprint of the target solution.
- Organize workshops with the stakeholders to identify pain points, draw analysis and propose remediations for all compliance / operational topics.
- Responsible for defining and documenting the functional roadmap and functional architecture of the product with a global view.
- Responsible for supporting the development and quality teams during the project lifecycle.
- Assuring quality for the assigned work area during a release.
