Job Description
− To gather field or market intelligence of the products in order to initiate
appropriate recommendations in marketing proposals to develop and assure the
products is competitive in terms of pricing, packaging and promotion;
− To develop the product concept, marketing positioning and branding for new
products;
− To perform product impression trial to evaluate the product efficacy, acceptance
and quality;
− To liaise, establish and negotiate with supplier on business terms and conditions;
− To develop total product packaging concept including product name and label to
fit the relevant market expectation and regulatory compliance;
− To work closely with all other cross-functional departments, i., Purchasing.
Marketing Development, Product Development and etc to ensure smooth
execution of plans and Operational support for any product related activities;
− To develop and execute marketing strategies, integrated marketing plan and
activities as well as training with Marketing Development Department to achieve
the set growth, market share and profitability for the products;
− To monitor the sales performance closely of new product and conduct analysis
on the promotion and activity effectiveness;
− To set targets on a monthly basis for review and control and propose
recommendations
for improvement when necessary;
− To achieve monthly and/or quarterly sales goals by engaging clients, applying
products and providing consultation;
− To provide advice and recommend services to customers as well as provide
excellent and follow up services toward customers;
− To build and maintain good relationship with customers;
− To coach and develop staff and encourage cooperative teamwork;
− To determine and allocate sales goals to each Sales Executive;
− To coordinate or arrange Special Events and Special Offers for respective
products;
− To conduct market research, competitors' analysis and relevant information to
prepare presentation for both new and existing products, and to update it from
time to time to ensure relevance and as deemed required;
− To prepare monthly and annual sales report as well as annual budgets;
− To prepare and submit monthly working plan together with the time frame to the
management for Key Performance Index (KPI) purpose, i.e., to know what tasks /
jobs given for the month and how much time required to complete the particular
tasks / jobs;
− All tasks must have the consent of the management;
− Other duties and special projects as at when assigned.
