Experience and knowledge of the research, innovation and life sciences landscape and application within the NHS Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information, negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult and controversial issues, and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups Operational delivery of individual work strands within the teams portfolio Commissioning and contract managing a range of organisations that the team works with Responsibility for overarching programme management of the Horizon Scanning and Demand Signalling function for the AAC, including management of risks and issues, contracts, and business cases. Compiling and drafting status reports Ensure effective engagement and partnership working with key stakeholders including (but not exclusively) DHSC, OLS, NIHR, UKRI, HRA, ICBs/ICSs, NICE, industry, the R&D community, AMRC and HINs. Manage the whole lifecycle of a programme of work containing multiple projects, reporting on progress and managing risks and issues, escalating where necessary Contribute to the strategic planning of team projects Pro-actively manage stakeholders, respond to, and resolve conflict when this arises through facilitation or other appropriate mechanisms. To develop policy based on information, evidence, and research outcomes. Present verbal, written and numerical information and issues, explaining complexities, to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
