What you’ll do at Elekta

As a Solution Verification Test Engineer at Elekta you will work within clinical settings to create and run solution-level test procedures and deliver verification demonstrating that the Elekta Medical Linear Accelerator solution works as a cohesive unit and fulfils its intended purpose.

You will maintain expert domain knowledge in one or more chosen areas as well as develop and maintain broad knowledge of products across our solutions. To succeed in this role, you need to demonstrate an eagerness to adapt and learn when new products are added to the Elekta Medical Linear Accelerator solution. The more you know and learn about the products the more can you contribute to the Solution Verification activities, Project Level Contributions and Process Compliance and Improvement.

In this role, you will assist the Solution Verification Team Lead in the identification of regression test sets. It is you who should ensure that changes made to the systems under test are reverted to a known good baseline and work with the Test Facilities team to ensure the necessary equipment and system configuration are in place for planned verification activities.

The right stuff
The Solution Verification Test Engineer responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Review solution-level requirements for testability as part of developing test procedures.

• Create Test Procedures to cover allocated requirements.

• Review allocated test procedures for adequacy of test coverage.

• Run approved test procedures against the solution recording results accurately and with an appropriate level of detail.

• Take ownership/responsibility to drive blockers and issues found to satisfactory resolution through own action, or collaboration with others as appropriate.

• Create problem reports, ensuring clear steps to reproduce are captured for issues found.

• Complete any required retesting of raised problem reports and previously failed test runs.

• Draw on own product knowledge and domain experience in the creation of Solution Verification Plans as required.

• Ensure the team Lead and Department manager are made aware of identified issues or risks.

• Take responsibility for own conformance with solution-level verification processes and procedures.

• Experienced in leading the testing for bigger implementation programs in core banking / payments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in computer science & engineering or related field.

Production and Supply Chain Support

· Conduct process verification and validation exercise (i.e. SOP/ Machinery/ CCP verification, new product launch process observation, machinery cleanliness check via ATP swab, weighing scale verification, monthly facilities check, mock recall exercise, FG shelf-life verification and to put in records).

· Perform daily periodic walk-around of production, warehouse area to ensure compliance to in-house GMP, GMP and GWP, FG specifications and SOP.

· Conduct monthly checks and data analysis on retention samples to evaluate product stability.

· Coordinate with microbiological laboratory for sample collection and lab reports.

· Collect information and data to conduct trend analysis.

· Participate in trials and follow up on required information.

· Supervise and ensure the handling and processing operations are in accordance with the general guidelines of Halal food within the premises.

· Conduct periodic checks on delivery trucks’ pre-cool and supply chain temperature to ensure cold chain management and follow up with drivers and vendors for corrective actions.

· Conduct random checks on incoming raw material to ensure product wholesomeness, free of foreign material and defects etc.

· Follow-up with Procurement on investigation and corrective actions on raw material complaint / feedbacks.

· Prepare and maintain raw material specifications, in-house process procedures and documentation (checklists, microbial test report, COA, complaint log, vendor evaluation form, calibration report, traceability invoices / production planning / certificate etc.).

· Ensure quality and food safety standards of FG are maintained through scheduled lab test, sensory evaluation and conduct process checks.

Regulatory Support

· Assist in internal audit.

· Support external customer and regulatory audits i.e. FSSC 22000, 3rd party supplier assessment.

Import and Export Management

· Prepare and liaise with warehouse team on export procedures e.g. placement of temperature data logger device.

·

Vendor Management

· Perform basic troubleshoot and liaise with external vendors for routine servicing and issue follow up e.g. pest control, cleaning chemicals, weighing scale, metal detector, microbiological laboratory.

Customer Management

· Provide support to customers’ request e.g. questionnaire, product specification, shelf life lab test reports.

· Assist in investigation and follow up with investigation report.

Training

· Preparation of training materials e.g. photos, attendance sheet, assessment.

· Coordination with HODs on training schedule.

· Conduct training

Ad-hoc Duties

· Any other duties assigned by QA manager

Requirement

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Food & Beverage Services Management, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.

· Required skill(s): Computer Skill, MS Excel, MS Word.

· At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Relevant experience in Food & Beverage industry is an advantage.

· Bilingual in English & Mandarin [to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates & employees.
